Holly is an evergreen, but will eventually become dry. Our holly has been hormone dipped for longer lasting freshness. If hung outdoors, mist leaves daily to prolong freshness especially in warm and dry climates. IF POSSIBLE, DO NOT ALLOW HOLLY TO FREEZE. Avoid placing holly in direct sunlight or in areas of direct heat as this will cause defoliation sooner. Cut dipped holly and holly bouquets should be treated the same as cut flowers for best results. As it ages, it will turn a lovely light green patina and may be kept for several years.
